What is yellow fungus ?
While black Fungus infection has been declared as an epidemic in some states , yellow fungus infection is not exactly, much like other fungal infection spread via contaminated environment ,or when suspected patient inhale moulds which grow in the environment.
Symptoms -
The yellow Fungus infection start to cause symptoms by launching an attack on the body's internal organ and disturbing vital bodily processes.
* Laziness
* Loss of appetite or no appetite at all weight loss
* In serious cases yellow fungus
can also cause leakage of pus and slow healing of the open wound
* Malnutrition and organ failure
* Sunken eyes due to eventual necrosis
How does it spread ?
Fungal infections spread when a person inhale moulds , and are found in the environment . Now yellow fungus infection could aslo be spread via high levels of humidity presence of old , contaminated food . However poor hygiene and unsanitary condition remain to be the prime reason for infection .

What make a person susceptible to the risk ?
Though it is still not known that who are more at risk of yellow fungus but some expert said that those who have weak immunity should remain on alert and contact a doctor if they notice any symptoms .
The people who with diabetes , cancer and other co-morbidities should also remain on alert and do not ignore the symptoms of yellow Fungus infection.
Causes -
It is very important to clean out the enclosure around your home and keep it as clean as possible .
Remove old foods and fecal matter as soon as possible to help prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus .
The humidity of the house is also important so it should be measured at all times as too much humidity can promote the growth of bacteria and fungus .
The correct humidity level is 30 % and 40% . Notably, it is easier to deal with low humidity than having too much moisture .
Treatment
Yellow or other Fungal infection being talked of right now aren't exactly new or rare . Currently , Amphotericin B injection , which is an antifungal medicine is the only known treatment therapy for fighting the infection.
As per the ANI report , the Ghaziabad patient who has been diagnosed with a case of yellow fungal had been undergoing Covid treatment for the past two months and recovering from it as well . However , in the last four days or so the patient Developed swelling in his face due to which he was unable to open his eyes . Then tbe patient began bleeding from his nose and in urine . He was rushed to the hospital where examination revealed it was a case of yellow fungus .
